The IRWIN 54 Ketch is a modern, 2 GRP-masted, seaworthy sailing yacht, 18 m. long and 4.7 m. wide. The IRWIN has modern technology on board for handling the boat and the sails.
Our yacht was built in America in 1991 and, after being brought over to Europe, was in service in Spain (Barcelona, Port Ginesta).
With our sailing friend Ernst Messner, we personally sailed the Irwin 54 ketch from Spain to La Spezia in Italy and then transported it overland to Lake Garda.
Thanks to all the help that Ernst gave us, we were able to get on with and complete complex repair work, so that it was really only the bureaucracy that held us up!
We christened her "SIORA," the elegant one.
The new "SIORA" cannot fail to impress with its generous space on deck for 10 guests. There's room to sit comfortably without being cramped in the sheltered centre cockpit. Sailing on the SIORA means very little heeling (listing to the side).
Sit back into the comfortably-upholstered seats, feel the wind in your face and let your thoughts run free. You'll unwind completely, we promise!
If the wind is cooler of if there's a light shower, the boat has a bright, spacious saloon with all amenities.
